Dear MCS Payroll User

The 2012 BI ANNUAL SUBMISSION Tax Season for Employers is here again and is for the period 1 September to 31 October 2011. Just to recap, this reconciliation refers to the period 1 March 2011 to 31 August 2011 only.

So we encourage you to please ensure that you submit well before the final deadline and to achieve this we will do whatever we can to assist.

With the new season also comes a new version of EasyFile ( 5.0.2)which is available at http://downloads.sarsefiling.co.za/easyfilehome/easyfile.html

As I mentioned in previous newsletters, it is important that you access EasyFile on a regular basis ( like every Monday morning) to synchronise, and yes I know it was problematic in the previous submission, but we hope it will be easier this time around. By synchronizing on a regular basis you will be up to date with correspondence from SARS and also so with successfully or failed allocation of Income Tax Reference Numbers, which means you will be able to act accordingly with enough time to spare.

Getting to know the workings of EasyFile is a huge benefit to employers, with feature and assist tools to help in many areas. SARS are constantly offering free seminars in this regard. Please click here to download a schedule with seminar topics and dates.
