Through its membership of the ITA, MCS has reference to the Payroll Authors' Group
(PAG), which disseminates the latest information relating to payroll systems and
services.
The computer systems employed are based on open system platforms, including IBM
RISC SYSTEM 6000 technology running under the AIX operating system and, more recently,
Microsoft SQL Server,
with software developed in Visual Basic and C#(C Sharp). MCS is a Microsoft Certified
Partner and receives monthly software and technology updates.
MCS, as a provider of bureau-based computing services, has, in effect, been in the
"outsourcing" business since its inception. Over this period, the company has been
involved with small, medium and large organisations as regards the taking over of
all or part of their Information Systems requirements. Many of these clients have
made use of MCS's services for longer than 10 years. References can be supplied
on request.
MCS has built its services and reputation around a multi-disciplinary team of Information
Systems professionals, dedicated to providing sound, stable support of the solutions
offered. MCS personnel, typically, have been in the services industry, or with MCS,
for longer than 10 years and, in some cases, more than 20 years.
