MCS is Cape Town-based and is one of the oldest computer services bureaux in the country, having been founded in 1965. The company is management owned and run, and is committed to furthering the principles of equal opportunity. MCS is a long-standing member of the Cape Town Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) and is a founding member of the Information Technology Association (ITA), which, inter alia, acts as a watchdog for the computer services industry. MCS is also a corporate member of the Computer Society of South Africa (CSSA).
